Terms of Service

Welcome to UPlay Indoor Soccer ("UPlay", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile experience, and the indoor soccer facility located at 7501 Ranco Rd, Richmond, VA 23228 (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, booking the field, joining a pickup game, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create a UPlay account and reserve the field. Players under 18 may participate when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has accepted these Terms and the Liability Waiver on their behalf. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for everything that happens under your account, including sharing your password.
2. Bookings & payments
- Field reservations are charged at our published hourly rate at the time of booking. Prices are listed on the site and may change with advance notice.
- Payment is processed at the time of booking via our payment processor (Stripe). UPlay does not store full card numbers.
- A booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email. Pending bookings that don't complete payment within a short window are automatically released.
- You're responsible for arriving on time and vacating the field at the end of your slot. Late starts do not extend your reservation.
3. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations are handled per the Cancellation & Refunds Policy. In short: all refunds are issued as on-platform UPlay credit, never back to your card. Credit never expires and can be applied to any future booking or pickup game.
4. Pickup games
When a host opens a booking as a pickup game, additional players ("joiners") can claim a spot. Joiners pay their share through the Service. Hosts are responsible for the conduct of their guests. UPlay reserves the right to remove disruptive players or close a pickup game at any time.
5. Code of conduct
While at the facility and while using the Service you agree not to:
- Engage in harassment, intimidation, slurs, or violence of any kind;
- Play while intoxicated or under the influence of unlawful substances;
- Bring alcohol, weapons, fireworks, glass containers, or animals (other than service animals) onto the premises;
- Damage the turf, nets, goals, lighting, audio system, or any other facility equipment;
- Wear metal cleats, baseball cleats, or street shoes on the playing surface — turf shoes or sneakers only.
UPlay may revoke your access to the Service and the facility, with or without refund, for any violation.
6. Liability & assumption of risk
Soccer is a contact sport and physical activity carries inherent risks. By using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Liability Waiver, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Intellectual property
The UPlay name, logo, site design, copy, and software are owned by UPlay and protected by U.S. and international law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use of the Service as intended.
8. Photography & recording
UPlay or its authorized partners may occasionally capture photographs and video at the facility for marketing and community purposes. By entering the facility you consent to appearing in such media. If you'd prefer not to appear, let staff know on arrival and we'll respect your request.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, UPlay disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UPlay's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid UPlay in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). UPlay is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Henrico County, Virginia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the updated version here and update the "Effective" date above. Material changes will be highlighted via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
