Cancellation & Refunds
Effective May 20, 2026
Plans change. Here's how we handle cancellations and refunds.
1. The 48-hour rule
- Cancel 48 hours or more before start time: 100% of what you paid is returned as UPlay credit.
- Cancel less than 48 hours before start time: 50% of what you paid is returned as UPlay credit. The remaining 50% covers the slot we can no longer rebook.
- No-show: no credit is issued. The full booking total is forfeited.
2. Credit, not card refunds
All refunds are issued as on-platform UPlay credit, not back to your card. Credit:
- Never expires;
- Applies automatically to your next booking checkout;
- Can be used toward field reservations, pickup-game joins, leagues, and clinics;
- Is non-transferable and has no cash value;
- Is shown at any time on your account credit page.
3. How to cancel
- Log in and open your upcoming bookings;
- Click the booking, then Cancel booking;
- Confirm — you'll see the credit applied immediately and a cancellation email will follow.

4. Recurring (weekly) bookings
Each week in a series is treated as its own reservation. Cancelling one week does not cancel the rest of the series. You can cancel future weeks individually from your upcoming bookings.
5. Pickup games
- If you're the host: cancelling the booking refunds your share per the 48-hour rule above and automatically refunds joiners 100% of their share as credit, regardless of when you cancel — because they didn't choose to cancel, you did.
- If you're a joiner: you can leave a pickup game any time up to start. Leaving 48+ hours out returns 100% as credit; under 48 hours returns 50% as credit.
6. Exceptions we'll consider
We may issue full credit (regardless of timing) for documented:
- Medical emergencies affecting the booking holder;
- Family bereavement;
- Severe weather that closes the facility (we'll proactively cancel and credit affected bookings);
- Facility-side issues such as power outages or equipment failure.

7. Disputes & chargebacks
Please contact us first — we resolve most issues within 48 hours. Initiating a chargeback before reaching out may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. New terms apply to bookings made after the change; bookings made before the change keep the policy in effect at the time they were booked.
